Begin with the moment you have.
Each week, FaithFormed gives your family a simple guide for opening the same Scripture your students are studying. Use the whole guide when you can. When the week is full, read the passage, remember one truth, and pray together.
It does not have to be long or polished.
A child may be in your lap. Dinner may be on the stove. An older student may be leaving for practice in ten minutes. You may have missed last week entirely. None of that keeps your family from opening Scripture together today.
The guide is already outlined, so you do not have to prepare a separate lesson or think of the right questions on your own. Bring the people who are available and begin where you are.
Read the week’s passage. Repeat the truth to remember. Ask one question. Pray together. Some weeks, that may be enough.
What each family guide includes
Every student edition includes FaithFormed Together. The guide brings the household back to the week’s passage with a clear structure you can use as written or shorten for the time you have.
A passage to read
Return to the same Scripture your students have studied during the week.
A truth to remember
Keep one clear truth from the passage in front of the whole family.
Questions to discuss
Use prepared questions to help students share what they noticed and learned.
A song and prayer
Respond to the passage together with suggested worship and prayer.
Six simple places to begin.
The full gathering follows a repeatable rhythm. You can move through every part, or choose the parts that fit your family that day.
Gather
Bring together the people who are available and settle into the passage.
Remember
Repeat the week’s Big Truth in clear, shared language.
Read
Read the selected Scripture aloud together.
Behold
Pause to notice what the passage shows about God.
Respond
Talk about what students noticed and how the passage speaks into real life.
Pray and worship
Use the suggested prayer and song to respond together.
The same guide can fit different seasons.
When younger children are nearby
Read a few verses, repeat the Big Truth, and pray while small hands are busy. Interruptions do not erase the gathering.
When your week already has a rhythm
Add the guide at dinner, before bed, after church, or another natural opening. The passage and prompts are ready, so the gathering does not require another lesson plan.
When older students are busy
Use the guide as a place for students to bring their questions and discoveries into family conversation, even when schedules leave only a small window.
This is not a second Bible lesson.
Your students have already spent the week looking closely at the passage in lessons designed for their level. FaithFormed Together gives the family a shared place to return to that Scripture.
The goal is not to complete every step perfectly. It is to make opening God’s Word together more possible in the week you actually have.
Before you begin
How long does a gathering take?
There is no required length. Use the full guide when your family has time, or choose one or two parts for a shorter gathering.
Do I need to prepare or teach a lesson?
No. The passage, truth to remember, discussion questions, suggested song, and prayer are supplied. You can read directly from the guide.
What if a younger child cannot sit through it?
They do not have to. Let them listen, move, color, or join for one small part. The guide can serve a household with several ages without requiring every person to participate in the same way.
What if we miss a week?
Begin again with the week you are in. FaithFormed Together is a place to return, not another schedule to catch up on perfectly.
Is FaithFormed Together a separate purchase?
No. The family gathering guide is included in every Elementary, Middle School, and High School edition.
Choose the student edition that fits each learner.
Every level follows the same weekly passage and includes the same simple place for the family to come back together.
